A clear and legible copy of each guest’s passport must be submitted to Ghumakadd at the time of booking. Guests are solely responsible for ensuring that the spelling of names, date of birth, and other personal details exactly match the passport information. Any discrepancy may lead to denial of boarding due to strict security and immigration regulations imposed by cruise authorities.
Deposit amounts vary depending on the cruise line, sailing date, and category selected. Complete details regarding the initial deposit, balance payment, and final payment deadlines will be provided by Ghumakadd at the time of booking. Failure to make payments within stipulated timelines may result in cancellation of the booking without prior notice.
Payments can be made through major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. ACH and wire transfers are also accepted; however, a processing fee of 2% of the total booking amount may apply. Booking confirmation will be effective only after the payment is successfully received and cleared.
Cancellation policies are governed by cruise line regulations and vary based on the number of days remaining before the sailing date. Detailed cancellation charges and refund eligibility will be communicated at the time of booking. Guests are advised to review cancellation policies carefully before confirming their reservation.
Name changes are strictly not permitted once a booking has been confirmed. Guests must ensure that all personal details are accurate at the time of booking. Any request for correction after confirmation may result in cancellation charges or denied boarding without refund.
By making payment to Ghumakadd, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accepted all applicable terms and conditions. Payment confirmation signifies full agreement with the booking policies, cruise rules, and statutory regulations governing the travel arrangement.
Guests must carry all mandatory travel documents including passports, visas, cruise tickets, airline tickets, and medical certificates if required. Certain destinations may require passport validity of at least six months beyond the return date. Guests failing to provide valid documentation may be denied boarding or disembarked without compensation.
In the case of guarantee suites, Silversea is unable to assign a specific suite number at the time of booking. Guests are assured a confirmed place on the sailing, but suite location, deck, or view cannot be guaranteed. Final assignment is made closer to the sailing date at the discretion of the cruise line.
A limited number of suites are available for single or third-guest occupancy. Supplement charges vary depending on sailing date, suite category, and availability. These rates are capacity controlled and subject to change without prior notice.
Cruise-only fares exclude airfare unless specified, optional hotel stays, transfers, shore excursions, specialty dining, spa treatments, casino gaming, laundry services, boutique purchases, and other personal expenses. Certain premium beverages and specialty items are also not included in the base fare.
Guests are advised to reconfirm airline reservations at least 24 hours prior to departure. In the event of flight delays that may impact embarkation, guests must immediately notify customer support or the ship directly if offices are closed. Failure to report delays may result in missed embarkation without refund.
Policies regarding minors vary by fleet and itinerary. Certain age restrictions apply for embarkation and participation in excursions. No onboard childcare services are provided, and parents or guardians remain fully responsible for the supervision and safety of minors throughout the voyage.
Guests must be at least 21 years of age to purchase or consume alcohol onboard. The cruise line reserves the right to refuse service to any guest deemed unfit. Guests are permitted to bring wine and liquor onboard for personal consumption without corkage fees.
If a cruise is fully booked, guests may opt to be placed on a waitlist by paying a refundable deposit. Should a suite become available, the deposit will be applied toward the booking. If unavailable, refunds will be processed after deducting applicable service charges.
Guests must disclose any existing medical conditions, mobility limitations, or special requirements at the time of booking. Wheelchair guests must bring their own collapsible wheelchair and travel with an able companion. Certain ports may have limited accessibility for mobility assistance.
Expectant mothers must provide a medical certificate confirming fitness to travel. Guests who have entered their 24th week of pregnancy will not be permitted to sail. The cruise line assumes no liability for pregnancy-related complications during or after the voyage.
All guests must accurately complete the mandatory guest information form prior to boarding. Incomplete or incorrect information may result in denied boarding or disembarkation without entitlement to refunds or compensation of any kind.
